World Cup bronze out of reach for Swedish team

There was big disappointment among Swedish handball fans on Sunday, as Sweden lost the semi-finals against Spain at the World Championships played in Malmö. For quite a while it looked like the Swedish team was within reach of Sweden's first world cup medal in handball since 2001. In the beginning of the second half, Sweden was even in the lead by 16-13. But after that, the Spanish team pulled ahead, bringing the final score to 24-23.
