Swedish holidaymakers start coming home

Swedish travel companies have now started flying their customers back from Egypt, this comes following a decision by the Swedish Foreign Ministry to recommend that Swedes avoid travelling to the country.

Companies Fritidsresor and Temaresor will start flying their customers back today, others will fly their holidaymakers back on regular flights scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday, reports news agency TT.

The Swedish government has decided against any state-led evacuation of Swedish citizens, but it could be discussed if the situation in Egypt continues to deteriorate, a Foreign Ministry spokesman says.
