Swedish krona strengthened against the Euro

The Swedish krona is stronger against the Euro than it has been in the past ten years, and many analysts expect the crown to continue to grow, Swedish Radio News reports.

Early on Tuesday morning one Euro cost 8.8 Swedish kronor while one US dollar cost 6.40 Swedish kronor.

SEB bank predicts that the krona will continue to sink against the Euro during the second quarter of 2011, but only if the Swedish state bank, Riksbanken, continues to raise the national interest rate at a faster speed than other European countries.
