Bodström favourite to lead Social Democrats

Social Democratic politician Thomas Bodström would replace Mona Sahlin as party leader if Swedish businesses were allowed to decide, according to a new Novus Opinion survey.

Bodström got 17.9 percent of the votes compared to runner-up Pär Nuder, who got 6.2 percent of the votes.

But few believe that the Social Democrats will come out of the crisis in time to win the next election. Only 43 percent of the participants said they thought the party could win in 2014.
