Compensation to Swedish pig farmers?

The Swedish minister of agriculture, Eskil Erlandsson, says he will review demands for compensation from the nation's pig farmers - who claim they are going out of business.

Earlier reports of overcrowding and poor conditions at some pig farms and carelessness at slaughter houses have reduced sales of pork in Sweden, and the ban on European pork by Russia and China has glutted the pork market in Europe.
