Foreign Ministry withdraws Egypt travel advisory

The Swedish foreign ministry has withdrawn its travel warning advising Swedes to avoid all parts of Egypt. The ministry now says it is safe to visit the country's Red Sea resorts, it still warns against any non-essential visits to other parts of the country, however.

How many Swedish tourists plan now to take their holiday's in Egypt remains unclear, many of the major travel companies had previously cancelled all charter trips for the rest of the winter season as the unrest broke out in the country.
