One of Sweden's most wanted - arrested

One of Sweden's most infamous swindlers, the so-called 'La Reine man', was arrested in Copenhagen on Saturday night, reports tabloid Expressen.

This comes just five days after the fraudster was added to Swedish police's 'Icarus list', of the country's most-wanted criminals.

The 57-year old man was convicted in 1992 for cheating people via a fake company named La Reine, and then again in 2009 for other financial crimes. After the second conviction, and a sentence of two-and-a-half years for serious fraud, he went on the run.
