Swedes in Libya advised to stay indoors

The Swedish foreign ministry is advising Swedes currently in Libya to stay at home until the possibility to leave the country improves. The airport in Tripoli is reportedly severely overcrowded and the situation is chaotic. The Foreign Ministry has also information that the border crossings to Egypt and Tunisia are closed.

The Ministry notes that it is extremely difficult to judge the situation in Libya at the moment, and that the advice may change during the course of the day. But Swedes are told to avoid crowds and demonstrations and to try to follow developments on "all available channels".
