Pharmacy mistake

Same needle used for 12 customers

Pharmacy staff used the same needle to take blood samples from twelve people, at a pharmacy in Sollentuna, just north of Stockholm. Efter being reprimanded by the National Board of Health and Welfare and Stockholm county council, the pharmacy Doc Morris is now searching for the people who may have been infected by the needle.

According to a Doc Morris spokeswoman, the risk that anyone has been infected is "minimal", but she apologises on behalf of the company for what has happened.

The incident took place on the 12th and 13th of April in Sollentuna, when Doc Morris was offering its customers a health test.
