On Saturday the Green Party will elect two new spokespeople to replace Maria Wetterstrand and Peter Eriksson.

The Green party traditionally elects two spokespeople instead of one party leader, and for the past 8 years Peter Eriksson and Maria Wetterstrand have led the party.

Radio Sweden spoke to Lena Wägnerud, Professor of Political Science at Gothenburg's University, about the journey the party has done under Eriksson and Wetterstrand and where it is headed next.
