Green Party chooses two new faces

Gustav Fridolin and Åsa Romson will be the new representatives for the Swedish Green Party.

This decision was made at the party's congress, being held now.

Mr Fridolin was standing unopposed for the position of male spokesperson, but Åsa Romson was standing against Mikaela Valtersson for the post of female spokesperson.

Åsa Romson received 200 votes against 59 for Mikaela Valtersson. This means that the Green delegates have chosen the candidate suggested by the election nomination committee.
