who will take over?

Centre favourites still undecided

Both of the leading contenders to take over the centre-right Centre Party following the decision by current leader Maud Olofsson not to stand for re-election say they have not yet decided whether to stand for the post.

Annie Johansson and Anna-Karin Hatt both say they will wait until they are asked by the nominating committee. Johansson, at 27 currently the party's economic spokesperson, says there are both positives and negatives involved with being a party leader and that she hasn't yet made up her mind, reports news agency TT.

Another name mentioned by some is MP Anders W Jonsson, but he tells TT he thinks Johansson or Hatt are more likely to become the new leader.
