Budget "for the young" says Reinfeldt

The upcoming budget is to concentrate on schools and young people, according to Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt.

Speaking at the youth wing of the conservative Moderate party's conference, Reinfeldt said it is important to make sure young people can get jobs and that schools get better. He refused, however, to go into any details about how this would be achieved.

Reinfeldt also compared Social Democrat leader Håkan Juholt with former british Labour Prime Minister George Brown, saying the only difference between the two was that Brown was in power and had the chance to put his policies into practice, ruin the economy and get voted out. Juholts policies, he said, would lead to an economic collapse, news agency TT reports.
