SAS plane in airport accident

A Stockholm bound SAS plane leaving its' gate at Palma airport in Mallorca ,collided with another plane on Saturday. Dagens Nyheter newspaper reports that the 178 passengers on board are still stuck in Mallorca. 

"It was really unpleasant," one passenger told DN.

The Boeing 737 had just left the terminal gate at 1pm on Saturday to approach the runway when one of its wings hit another plane. The newspaper reports that both planes had to be separated by a tractor.

The SAS plane was not travelling at any great speed at the time of the accident. The reason for the accident is not yet clear.
