Borg kills off Prime Minister job rumours

Finance Minister Anders Borg has killed speculation that he wants to succeed Fredrick Reinfeldt as Sweden's next Prime Minister.

Borg said late on Tuesday that he will not stand for parliament at the next general election in 2014 because he wants to spend more time with his family. Only parliamentarians can stand as party leader.

Borg said though that he still wants to serve on his conservative Moderate Party's committee.
