Dawit Isaak's children attack freedom campaign

The children of imprisoned journalist Dawit Isaak say that the campaign to free their father is one of the major reasons that he is still in an Eritrean jail.

Dawit Isaak is an Swedish-Eritrean citizen currently in Eritrean prison for writing articles critical of the country's regime.

Betlehem Isaak says to newspaper Svenska Dagbladet that the campaign has become a political attack on Eritrea's state, and thus guarantees that her father will not be freed

Dawit Isaak's wife and children have not taken part in the support campaign since 2005. It is led by Isaak's brother, Esayas, and his foster-father, Leif Öbrink.
