JAS Gripen fighters return to Sweden

The five Swedish JAS Gripen fighters that flew their last surveillance flights in Libya on Monday returned to Sweden today.

The pilots took off from the Naval Air Station in Sicily and landed at Blekinge base in the south of Sweden this afternoon. Sweden's participation in Libya began last April. Around 140 people have been involved in the operation, but only the five pilots returned today. The rest will return on Saturday.
