Sweden votes against Palestinians at UN

At the United Nations, Sweden was in the tiny minority of 14 countries voting against Palestinian membership in the educational and cultural organization UNESCO - which was approved by 107 nations. We talked to Swedish Radio's Middle East correspondent Cecilia Uddén.

Swedish news reports maintain that the Swedish center-right government coalition was divided over the vote. Swedish opposition parties have sharply criticized the government for not supporting Palestinian membership in the UN.
