Russian crash due to pilot error
An inquiry into the plane crash in Russia that wiped out almost an entire hockey team, including the Swedish player Stefan Liv, has concluded that pilot error caused the accident.
One pilot hit the breaks during take off, states the report. It also says one pilot had taken medicine before the flight which can affect a person's reflexes and reaction time.
All the players of Lokomotiv Jaroslavl on board the plane on September 7 died. A flight deck technician was the only survivor in the crash which killed a total of 44 people.
