SAS Strike Averted

Scandinavian Airline SAS has averted a planned strike by workers next week.

An estimated 2 thousand workers had been set to strike next Monday over working hours.

Late on Wednesday night , SAS and Sweden’s transport union managed to reach an undisclosed agreement.

The chief executive of SAS, Joergen Lindegaard, did warn however, that the airline would be reviewing its ground operations and hinted that cost-cutting measures could result in job losses.
