Swedish theatres, art and photo galleries and universities here at home and abroad are celebrating  the 100th anniversary of the death of the giant of Swedish drama and literature – August Strindberg.

Despite his international fame, August Stlrindberg was denied the Nobel prize in literature by a suspicious academy of letters.

At the Stockholm city theatre, Hugo Hansén is in charge of the Strindberg year program there and explains just what’s happening.
