Left Party In Poll Slump

Voter support for Sweden’s former Communist Left party has plummeted following a TV documentary revealing the party’s former links to the countries of the Warsaw Pact.

In June the party had a poll rating of just under 12%, a new poll released today now has the party at just 6.6 %, it’s lowest figure for a decade.

The main beneficiaries of their slump in support are the governing Social Democrats, who see their support jump almost 3 points to 37.6%.
