Swedes May Sue U.S. Company over Milan Air Tragedy

Swedish and other relatives of victims of the 2001 airport tragedy at Linate just outside of Milan have been given the green light to bring charges against the Cessna aviation company in the United States.

A Scandinavian airliner taking off crashed into a small Cessna plane on the runway – killing 118 people including 23 Swedes.

The blame has mostly been placed on control tower personnel and incorrect airport routines.
