Persson Stirs Up The Left Party

Prime Minister Göran Persson announced during the weekend that he could consider forming a coalition government with the Green Party, which might  also include cabinet seats.

Persson’s minority Social Democratic government is currently in power thanks to an informal deal with the Greens as well as the Left Party—and the Left Party has reacted to Persson’s comments with anger, seeing his remarks as a major snub to their party.

They say Persson is speaking in forked tongues, because he says one thing public and another behind closed doors.

They also says that they may not support the Social Democrats after the next election, which is in two years time.
