Famous spy dies at the age of 79

Bertil Ströberg has died at the age of 79. Ströberg was convicted and sentenced to six years in prison in 1983 for espionage. But Ströberg has always denied he was involved in espionage, saying he was framed.

He was arrested at a post office after asking for mail addressed to Sven Roland Larsson. The same name had offered to sell military secrets to Poland.

He fought his conviction until the end and only last year the Supreme Court denied a retrial of the case.
