Newspaper maps out mortgage interest rates

"People are fired up about interest rates"

Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet has done what the main banks in Sweden said was impossible and created an interactive map for mortgage interest rates.

In just four days, 16 000 homeowners have entered information about their housing mortgage loans, how long they have had it and what they pay in interest. The map is said to make it easier for others to navigate through what the newspaper calls "the housing mortgage jungle."

Radio Sweden will speak to Olle Zachrison, head of the business section, to hear more about the initiative.
