Larsson Considering Retirement

Swedish striker Henrik Larsson is considering retiring after he tore a knee ligament on Saturday.

Larsson told the regional daily Helsingborg Dagblad that he was unsure about his future after surgery showed the injury could keep him out for six months.

He told the paper ”I can’t say if I will continue or quit before I have all the cards on the table.” The 32 year old soccer player added that, ”Right now everything is just so grim and tiring. There are a lot of thoughts moving through my head. I had really hoped it would not be so serious.”

Larsson signed for Barcelona this season after seven seasons with Scotland’s Celtic.
