Swedish Inflation Outlook Remains Subdued

Swedish inflation will inch above the central bank’s 2.0 percent target in two years, but remain within its tolerance band, a poll showed Wednesday, at the same time noting possible price pressure from wage deals.

The poll by research institute Prospera was carried out on behalf of the central bank.

The findings compared with Prospera’s September poll outlook of inflation of 1.9 percent after 12 months and 2.1 percent after two years. The central bank targets 2.0 percent inflation over a two-year horizon, with one percent leeway either side.
