"People really wanted me to dance with a guy"

"I thought it would help people to come out"

The professional Swedish soccer player Anton Hysén came out of the closet last year. He's one of only a few professional male athletes to do that. Now he's also participating in Sweden's “Let's Dance” television program – and he's one of the favorites.

The 21-year-old Hysén plays midfield for Utsiktens BK, a soccer team from the third tier of the Swedish league.

We caught up with him earlier today at the “Let's Dance” Studio in Stockholm as he was preparing for tonight's show. "People really, really wanted me to dance with a guy, but it seems to be so much better when I dance with a girl," he says.
