Corpse was of missing British man

The Swedish authorities say the remains of a body found last year have now been identified as a 90-year-old man from England who disappeared in September.

The remains were discovered in the west coast province of Bohuslän during the search for a Swedish film director who had disappeared in the area. The British man was reported missing while traveling between the Norwegian capital Oslo and the English port of Southampton.

He was identified with the help of Interpol’s DNA bank.
