Derby delayed by injuries - to match officials

Monday night's top division derby between Gais and IFK Gothenburg was delayed for 20 minutes due to injuries sustained in the pre-game warm-up -  by the match officials.

Referee Daniel Stalhammar pulled a hamstring and was replaced by fourth official Bojan Pandzic, with Stalhammar taking on the stationary fourth official duties. However, just before kick-off, linesman Magnus Sjöblom also injured himself resulting in a desperate search for a replacement.

Local referee Henrik Bogdan was brought in and the game finally got underway 20 minutes late. The match ended in a 1-1 draw.
