Fake Reinfeldt tweets

Fake Reinfeldt Twitter

The TT news agency reports that false messages have been sent from a Twitter account attributed to Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. Especially of concern was a tweet claiming that former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev has died.

The untrue story was retweeted by 80 of the 1800 followers of the fake Reinfeldt.

The prime minister’s press secretary Roberta Alenius tells TT they are contacting Twitter about the fake account. There’s an easy way to know if a tweet comes from Reinfeldt, she says. It doesn’t, because the prime minister doesn’t have a Twitter account.
