A police officer is suspected of committing a crime in connection with a shootout during a robbery of a jewelry store in Stockholm in March.

The shootout left a Stockholm gym riddled with bullet holes after the robbers ran out onto the street, one of them pointing a gun towards the five police officers.

The police officers fired back and eleven bullets hit the front window of a gym that was across the street from the store.

One of the police officers is suspected of putting others in danger. Such a conviction could result in fines or up to two years in prison if the suspect is found guilty.

The three robbers have been sentenced to several years in prison.
