Danish terrorism trial to conclude today

Thursday is the last day of the trial against four Swedish residents who are accused of planning a terror attack against the Danish newspaper, Jyllandsposten, in 2010.

The prosecutor believes that one of the men, 38, was the mastermind who planned the attack. His lawyers say, however, that the man never seriously considered carrying out an attack.

Closing arguments from the defense are being made today, and the judgment is expected to come next week, reports news agency TT.

The newspaper published controversial cartoons of the prophet Mohammed in 2005.
