Godana and Abu Drais win Stockholm Marathon

Derebe Godana of Ethiopia won this year's Stockholm Marathon after crossing the finishing line 2 hours and 40.19 seconds after setting out on the capital's rain-slick streets. Methkal Abu Drais of Jordan was the fastest man in the race, clocking in at 2 hours and 19.16 seconds.

"I'm so happy but it was freezing," Sweden-based Godana told TV4 news.

Charlotte Karlsson was the fastest female Swedish runner.

"My face has gone numb, the second lap was disgusting," she told TV4 news.
