Zlatan: "A medal for your country beats everything"

Published söndag 3 juni 2012 kl 15.53

The Swedish men's national football team trained Sunday at the Stockholm arena Råsunda, later meeting the press.

"If I get a medal in the Euro 2012 it beats everything else I've ever won," said team captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic. "There's nothing bigger than taking home a medal for your home country."

Sweden is preparing to meet Euro 2012 co-host Ukraine on Monday June 11 at the NSC Olimpiyskiy stadium in Kiev.

The Swedes will then take on England and France in their remaining games in Group D.

There are an estimated 13,000 to 17,000 Swedish fans set to travel to the tournament.
