Opposition leads in latest poll

The latest poll from Statistics Sweden indicates that the center-left opposition would easily form a majority in parliament if there was an election today.

The biggest increase came among the Social Democrats, jumping from under 28 percent in November to more than 37 percent now. Together, the three center-left parties have just over 51 percent support, compared to under 45 percent for the center-right government.

The poll also shows the Christian Democrats, a member of the government coalition, falling slightly to 3.7 percent, remaining under the 4 percent threshold for seats in parliament.
