Unemployment expected to rise, despite new jobs

Over twenty thousand new jobs will be created in Sweden over the next two years, according to new projections by the Swedish Employment Service, but despite this unemployment is still expected to rise, it says.

More people will be joining the job market than jobs created, and it forecast unemployment to reach 7.8 percent next year.

It made its predictions after asking over ten thousand employers about their expectations over the next 24 months
