The Swedish Migration Board has cancelled the expulsion of Ganna Chyzhevska, a 91-year-old Ukrainian woman, and given her a Swedish residence permit.

Her case gained a lot of media attention last year as she is reported to be senile, in poor health and without any relatives in Ukraine to take care of her.

The woman's family has been fighting to keep her with them in Sweden.
