Blekinge rail traffic resumes after fire

Rail traffic between Sölvesborg and Karlskrona along the southern Swedish coast has resumed, after a fire stretching along 3 kilometers of the line caused a halt Monday morning.

Three teams of fire fighters succeeded in putting out the blaze, but to do so they had to turn off the electricity along the line, which stopped the rail traffic.

During the outage busses carried passengers.
