Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored four goals, including a stunning overhead kick during overtime, in Sweden’s victorious match over England last night, the first to be played at Friends Arena in Solna outside of Stockholm.

“Let’s say I enjoyed myself,” Zlatan told the TT news agency after the match. He added: “It’s not often that you get to score four goals in one game, and it’s in the new arena… It feels like the Colloseum.”

The star footballer won his seventh Footballer of the Year Award on Monday. His overhead strike is already being described as "legendary".

Yesterday’s match was the premier game at the newly opened Friends Arena in Stockholm.

The final score was 4 -2.
