Openers cancel on Chris Brown in Stockholm

Panetoz, the band scheduled to open for singer Chris Brown at Stockholm's Globen arena on Monday evening, has cancelled due to "technical changes" in Brown's live set, Swedish Radio reports. The event has been criticised Brown's history of domestic violence.

Fake posters showing Brown's former girlfriend Rihanna's bruised face have appeared in Stockholm over the last week, and the newspaper Svenska Dagbladet have decided not to review the show.

But Panetoz tell news agency TT that their decision has nothing to do with the protests against domestic violence.

"After all that has been written, we have of course discussed it. But we are trying to keep our music seprate from what is going on," says band member Neveryu Baheru, adding that their management made the call to cancel their slot.
