emotional night for AIK fans

Final match at Råsunda stadium

After staging football matches for 75 years, Sweden's national Råsunda stadium will host its final ever game, Thursday. As well as being home to the Swedish national side, Råsunda has also been home to AIK of Stockholm and Thursday night will be an emotional evening for fans as they watch their team take on Italian side Napoli in the Europa Cup.

Club legends such as Kurt Hamrin will be in attendance for the game which is of vital importance to AIK's Europa league qualification prospects.

The Råsunda stadium is to be torn down and AIK will play their home matches next season at the nearby Friends Arena which on Thursday was hosting another farewell, as DJ's Swedish House Mafia play the first of three final concerts in Sweden. Police are advising people not going to either arena to avoid the area.
