Saudi weapons scoop wins journalism prize

The annual Swedish Grand Journalism Prize for Investigatative journalism has gone to Daniel Öhman and Bo Göran Bodin of Swedish Radio News for their exposure of the Swedish government's secret plans to build a Saudi weapons factory. The journalist prize is divided into four categories.

The Storyteller of the Year award went to Carina Bergfeldt at the tabloid Aftonbladet for her coverage of the massacre on Utöya. The Innovator of the Year prize went to six reporters at the Svenska Dagbladet newspaper for their webpage map which allowed readers to write in and compare home bank mortgage rates.

The Lukas Bonnier Award which is given to a long-term journalist in recognition of his or her skill and distinguished achievement over a lifetime was awarded to medical reporter Inger Atterstam.

The Swedish Grand Journalism Prize is given yearly by Bonnier AB to recognize achievement in journalism.
