Brutal murder in the south of Sweden

Sibling murder trial starts in Lund

A 17-year-old boy charged with murdering his sister by stabbing her over 100 times saw his trial begin on Monday in the southern town of Lund.

Police say they have not found evidence that the murder is an honour killing, but that is what the defence will claim during the trial, news agency TT reports. The boy has claimed he is innocent.
