Free school choice contributes to segregation

According to a new study, the introduction of greater choice in where parents can send their children to school has increased segregation in this country. Middle class parents are sending their kids away from ethnically mixed schools, apparently under the impression they aren’t as good.

Bo Malmberg, professor in Human Geography at Stockholm University, is one of the authors of the study:
