Two more to Swedish Eurovision competition
Two male artists have gone through to the final in the “second chance round” of the Melodifestivalen competition in Karldstad on Saturday.
The favourite to qualify, Robin Sjernberg, was joined by Anton Ewald who beat another favourite, Martin Rolinski, to go to the final on Saturday in Stockholm.
“I’ve fought so much with self-confidence and finding myself as an artist,” Sjernberg, a Royal Swedish Ballet School graduate told Swedish Radio.
“Now it feels like everything is possible now.”
However the two finalists face an uphill battle. There has never been an entry from the second chance round who has won in the final of Sweden’s Eurovision qualifiers.
