Emil Jönsson wins World Cup sprint title

Sweden's Emil Jönsson won the cross-country World Cup sprint title on Saturday by beating Ola Vigen Hattestad of Norway in the latest sprint race at the Lahti Ski games. Jönsson now has an unassailable 230 point lead over American Andrew Newell in the discipline standings with two races remaining.

It is the third time that Jönsson has won the overall Sprint cup.

"It feels good, it feels nice and is a little bit of revenge after everything. I won the cup twice in a row but lost last year, so it is nice to come back and win it again," he told TV4.
