Skaters injured in ice boat collision

Two women skating on a lake in western Sweden were hit by an ice boat at lunch time Saturday, with one injuring a leg and suffering a head wound, according to local police.

News agency TT reports the police now suspect the young, male driver of the ice boat of causing bodily harm. "This will be investigated, which is what we always do as a safety measure," says Ulla Brehm, press spokesperson for the police in Västra Götaland province.
