She only took up singing a couple of years ago but a lot has happened in a very short space of time for Gothenburg singer Miriam Bryant who has been tipped for stardom in 2013. The 22-year-old's soulful voice has been compared to that of UK star Adele in the Swedish press. Her debut album "Raised in Rain" is out next week and she joined Dave Russell at Broadcasting House in Stockholm as Radio Sweden's Friday Guest.

Miriam Bryant released her debut single Finders Keepers in April 2012 and her album Raised in Rain is out on 25 March. Her current single Push Play is currently being used in an advertising campaign by high-street clothing chain Gina Tricot.

The 22-year-old grew up in Gothenburg but has an English father and a Finnish mother. She went to a music theatre school in Sweden and later met Viktor Rådström who produced and co-wrote her album.
